Area Graphs
7.5. Area Graphs
Applies to: @RISK 5.x–7.x
Can I smooth out a histogram to create an area graph, as I could in older versions of @RISK?
Yes, you can, though you have to go through a dialog box because you get more choices.
When you have the results graph displayed, follow this procedure:
- Right-click the graph and select Graph Options.
- Select the Curves tab.
- In the list at the left, select the histogram that you want to smooth if it's not already selected.
- Change Style to either Line or Solid. (The Automatic box will uncheck itself.)
- For Interpolation, select Spline Fit for a smooth curve or Linked Midpoints for a polygon. If you wish, you can also change color and style.
- Click OK and you will see your smoothed graph displayed as you wish.
