Applies to: @RISK v7.x
Description: One of the features of MS Project is Resource Leveling, which tries to distribute the project work evenly. For more information on Resource Leveling you can search on Microsoft’s site. See one reference link here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/distribute-project-work-evenly-level-resource-assignments-59ee715d-4446-42c9-8756-4ea2a5a7e4a0
In order to perform the Resource Leveling process for each one of the iterations during a simulation process, you should add some VBA in order to call the Resource Leveling and also utilize the Macros configuration from @RISK to set it up.
In this article a small model is attached, which will perform the Resource Leveling automatically, one process for each iteration. You can choose to activate or not the Macros and see the differences between the runs with and without it. See below how the Macros settings is set up:
You might expect the duration of the simulation process that includes the Resource Leveling to be slower than a regular simulation, as the leveling process is included.
