I'm not sure about which distribution would be best for my input, is there a quick way to compare several distributions at once?
Starting in version 8.2, @RISK allows for overlays to be swapped in the Define Distribution. To do this you first need to add an overlay to the currently defined distribution. This is done by clicking the Overlays button in the bottom left hand corner of the window, and choosing Add Overlay from the menu.
You then add the desired distribution from the window, and edit the parameters on the left hand side of the window. The original distribution will remain as a solid image, and the overlay will appear over the top as an unfilled line. You can include many overlays if this is useful for you to compare the shape and limits of multiple distributions.
To change the distribution you click the three dots next to the overlay you think fits your needs best, and then choose Set as Main Distribution. This will change the overlay to the solid filled distribution on the graph. You can either close the Define Distribution window at this stage, or you can remove the overlays by choosing Clear Overlays from the Overlays button.
