6.3. Project Not Linked in @RISK 6.x/7.x

1. Click Formulas » Name Manager.
2. Look for RiskMPPPath (three consecutive P's).  If it's there, highlight it and click Edit.  If it's not there, click New and create it.
3. In Refers to, enter the full path and file name of the MPP file, such as
   ="C:\Users\Sanjay\Desktop\Simple Risk Register.mpp"
4. Click OK and then Close.
5. Save, close, and reopen the workbook.  (You don't need to shut down Excel.)

If the RiskMPPPath name exists but the Edit button is grayed out, the current sheet may be protected. Right-click on the tab for this sheet and select Unprotect Sheet. If Unprotect Sheet doesn't appear, the sheet is not protected but the workbook may be. Verify that it is not read only and not protected from editing.
